We plan to make a show out of it, and can’t wait to see what this turns into. We still have some tweaking to do and were working on getting more cameras and video equipment to make the show the best it can be.

SMART HDD Virus (S.M.A.R.T Repair Virus/S.M.A.R.T Check Virus) scares you and then offers you pay for its licensed copy which claims it can help you solve all the problems that your having with your computer. Don’t fall this scam it might look like a genuine application, but its a fake. This rogue antivirus software also hides all the files and folders on your hard drive.

Follow this below.

Before you begin to uninstall this rogue thing, please restart your computer and get in safe mode with networking.

Step 1: To begin, go ahead and reboot the infected computer. If the infected computer is turned off, go ahead and turn it on.

Step 2: Immediately as the computer begins to boot, press F8 many times. Pressing F8 allows you to access the Advanced Options Menu.

Step 3: Once you are in the Advanced Options Menu, use your arrow keys and select the Safe Mode with Networking option. Press enter when you have selected that option.

Step 4: Windows will now boot into Safe Mode with Networking. Safe Mode with Networking will allow you to remove Smart HDD which it would not allow when Windows was in normal mode.

Step 5: Now that the virus is not running it is time to begin removal. On your keyboard, click and hold the Windows key, then press the R key. See keyboard diagram below.

Step 6: After you have pressed the Windows and R key, the Windows Run Box will open. Type exactly the following into the run box and click OK:

After clicking OK, your computer will connect to our website and download our recommended unhide tool.

Once it download Click Run.

Step 7: After the Unhide tool is done you should be able to see your files again. Below is a list of file locations the Smart Virus could have installed. This can very from computer to computer depending on what Operating system you have. Once you locate the files then you can delete them.

Step 8: Now you have to edit the registry buy deleting all the registry entries added by the virus. If you see the files listed below in your registry delete the entries if you don’t see them don’t worry about it.

Step 9: After step 1-8 is completed the virus is removed but you will want to download and run Malware Bytes to scan your PC for any other infections you may not be aware of. You can download this program here www.malwarebytes.org. Just click on the download link and once you have it installed Run the programs to do a scan. This scan will help to find any other infected files or trojan virus you may have on your pc.

Note:

Although manual Guide is useful and may appear to be easy. However, it needs expertise because manual removal is a risky job. Users may notice that there are many websites providing manual guide, but the infected files and registry entries are not the same. Since SMART HDD Virus/S.M.A.R.T Repair Virus/S.M.A.R.T Check Virus is tricky, it mutates every time and disguises itself as a legit file or process in root of the system by changing its name all the time. Therefore, be caution when you do every steps because if you delete the things you are not sure, it may result in performance problems, registry errors as well as instability issues. I had no problem connecting to the wifi hot spot the issue I had was it could not access some site, one of which was www.paypal.com as well as www.cuttingedgehobbies.com. I was able to get to www.google.com and some other sites like www.espn.com but for some reason it would not access alot of our client sites. This was a big issue for me.

Step 1: Click on the start button.
